Hobbies

One of the freedoms I find in being childfree is the time that I can spend on my hobbies. One of my favorite hobbies is reading. I usually have several books going at once.

Another one of my hobbies is scrapbooking. This gives me a creativity outlet. (And something to do with all my cat pictures!)

My husband has also gotten me into geocaching, which is a lot of fun and gets us outdoors.

What kind of hobbies do you enjoy?

  1. I like to read and write, but usually have to carve time out for both, since I have so many other things going on. I box, which doesn't consist of competing (too hard to find opponents in my category), but more coaching and working the corners at fights. I also sing, and I'm currently practicing a show I'll be doing this summer of all TV show themes.

  2. Hey, that's not fair...if I leave a comment about my hobbies I cannot put up cool images like yours! (LOL)

I indulge in collecting fabric (sometims actually sewing it), embroidery/needlework, birding, challenge cooking (i.e.: "omigosh, what's for dinner tonight, then creating a masterpiece never to be duplicated again in exactly the same way), photography, golf and blogging.

  3. Oh, and did I mention that I an wanderlust "closet" Trekkie? Yes, I really miss my weekly dose of future a la Gene Rodenberry. I love visions of the future!
